"We were really looking forward to our stay at this hotel given it's rating and reviews and lots of it lived up to expectations. However, we were very disappointed with the garden view, in reality it's a small balcony with a bit of an hedge and brick wall views, nothing about it to enjoy and lots of noise from the air conditioning units. We also found the bathroom very disappointing and in need of refurbishment which I believe many rooms have had. The location, the pool area, views, access to beach, town and lovely food at lunch, dinner were all great. It's a lovely place to stay but would recommend a sea view room and a bathroom with walk in shower."

"It has been about 4 weeks since we returned back to Wales after spending 14 days at the Regina Dell Acqua resort in Scarla. To write a review becomes very hard as the only word that springs to mind is “fantastic” meaning that the food of an evening and lunch time was extraordinarily good with lots of it. Breakfast with Katrina and all the staff was excellent where there was lots to choose from. They work so hard and nothing is too much trouble. The room was lovely and comfortable. It was cleaned and tided every day with fresh towels. The word ‘spotless’ springs to mind and I for one was so grateful for the amount of storage and how spacious the room was. I even left some room for my husband to have a few drawers! The atmosphere in the hotel was excellent with Anastasia and Evangelis meeting you as soon as you arrive. A welcome drink, little touches and a very warm welcome was given. Anastasia and her husband work extremely long hours. We arrived late in the evening but the lovely welcome was still there, making you feel like part of their family. We eat late at the hotel’s restaurant but Ilias and all the staff were there also. Even though it was late Ilias was very kind and caring and throughout the holiday his jokes and smiles were endless. The water running down the rocks at the front of the hotel as you arrive, the grounds and garden areas, the swimming pool and stunning views of the beach, sea across the road are again fantastic and very well cared for. We are sorry if we have left anything or anyone out! A beautiful hotel that is run by Anastasia and Evangelis and all the staff, making a super team that stays together and which makes your holiday relaxing, enjoyable and stress free but above all feeling cared for because YOU are on your ‘holiday.’ Thank you to you all. "After reading the rave reviews, we were sorely disappointed by the hotel. However, if you were to read the three star reviews, a theme emerges: this is not a five star hotel. The pool area and grounds are lovely and would not look amiss in a four star hotel. Breakfast is decent for a hotel of this size. It’s the rooms that let things down. They are tired and run down. Beds are creaky and the hard mattress is saved by a lumpy topper. Cleanliness is so and so, shaving mirror felt grimy and crumbs on balcony were not swept up during our whole stay. It’s a case of pulling out chest of drawers to find a socket for a charger. Our room had a lamp in the corner that was not plugged in due to lack of available sockets. It was just left there. The hotel is across the street from a pebbly beach, however the hotel charges its guests 15 euros per day for the use of their own sunbeds! This in a five star hotel! You may get free days if management likes you. Service could be excellent - I nearly gave the hotel four stars just based on Anastasia’s very helpful service, but issues over pool towels let the side down. One day I came back from the beach with a very wet towel and was initially not allowed to change it for a clean one. After I expressed my surprise, a clean towel was reluctantly handed over. Unlike many other reviewers, we will not be back."
