Stamos Hotel

"Many positives from our first stay. Lovely hotel, great breakfast area and selection of food on offer. Well stocked bar and the snacks available were tasty and reasonably priced. Room was cleaned every day, great air conditioning and layout. The hotel is close to all restaurants and the beach so great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Downsides - some TLC required in the pool for missing tiles and the general area around the pool could benefit from some daily sweeping and cleaning. There aren’t enough sun loungers for guests which forces you to be up early to get a bed as beds were claimed with towels from 6.30am onwards each day, often being left for hours with no-one on them. Not ideal when on holiday to relax. We would return as the positives outweighed the negatives for us."

"Super location staff friendly. There are lots of tiles missing in the pool one guest cut his toe so some blood in pool and on poolside. Not sure how deep pool is as there isn't any thing telling you the depth. . Good selection for breakfast but cold bacon and scrambled eggs. Fruit 👍"

"A brilliant small hotel with friendly staff, lovely pool area and a great breakfast. It's just a short walk from the centre of the village. The village is really nice with many restaurants and shops. It can get quite busy in the evenings, but we always managed to get a table in a restaurant without a reservation. It's about 10-15 minute walk to the beach depending on which beach you are visiting. A bit hilly on the way back, which was no bother us at all. We had a superior double room, which had a brilliant balcony with a table, chairs, clothes horse and sun loungers. The bed was comfy, the shower was good. The air conditioning was much appreciated in the night. We were able to sign into Netflix on TV. All the sun loungers were taken early in the morning on most mornings. This did not bother us as we like the beach and hired a car for a couple of days. We were usually able to get some sunbeds in the late afternoon when we returned to the hotel. Managed to get two on the day we were leaving, which was great as our flight was not until 10 pm. They said we could use the pool area for the whole day, even though check-out is 10:30 am. You can store your luggage in the bar and there is a shower behind reception to freshen up before your flight. Thanks for a lovely stay. We would definitely come again and would recommend to others."
