"This is a really sad review. We are actually still here with 2 nights to go but hotel management are unable to resolve the issues. The good.....location, room size, facilities, kindness of hotel staff, proximity to the airport, authentic feel.....amazing. However, the restaurant, bars and pools are an integral part of the experience....but are owned by My Zen. These staff are rude, unthoughful and mediocre at best (Alex excepted). They use one of the restaurant tables as their staff room and quite happily disturb residents night after night with loud chatting, smoking and shouting. Often til 2am. We spoke to the nice hotel manager about it who said it wouldn't happen again but sadly, one night later and here we are again. We are getting to sleep around 2 each morning and are woken around 7.30 with the breakfast music. 5 hours sleep a night is not ideal when we came here to rest. The hotel is lovely but the affiliation with My Zen has brought it's value right down. "

"Absolutely brilliant 10 nights here. The staff are very friendly, rooms are good, cleaned regularly. 5 minutes from the beach. Good local tavernas and mini supermarkets. Chania is easily reached by the bus or taxi or even walking. Complex has many flights of stairs so may not be suitable for people with mobility issues. Planning on going back here."

"From moment we arrived late at night we were made to feel welcome and Christine (bar person) was pouring us drinks while we took cases to rooms . All staff could not do enough for us . Rooms very clean , spacious and comfortable with good air conditioning. Meals were fantastic and close to beach and other amenities with bus stop to chania city outside complex . Bar staff Christine and Alana are best and most friendliest staff ever and really made our holiday . Thank you we will be returning"
