"Truly special place in a breathtaking setting. Staff are wonderful, Giannis in the restaurant bar with his first class calm service, smiling Kostas at the pool bar, excellent music and quaint decor, Lucy in the restaurant always ready to clear your plate and the hotel cleaners who are efficient and friendly. A special mention goes to Spiros - with his ‘can do’ attitude to customer service - definitely Mr Golden Beach - give this man a day off! Finally Rose in the restaurant, what a ray of sunshine she is, she made our stay extremely special and made the whole place feel like home. A couple of suggestions - recycling facilities for the plastic glasses and more importantly a toilet at the top pool bar. This hotel has all the requirements of a 4 star in Greece, the 43 rooms, make it feel more like a European guest house, yes…relatively quiet, food choices not as extensive as a large hotel - but still well cooked and delicious and there is a steep hill to the beach, so not for everyone. For us it was perfect - thank you Ps - lots of wasps typical for September - no stings though. Corfu cats and kittens was a plus for us."

It is a beautiful place in one of the most charming areas of Corfu, with a relaxed atmosphere, lovely surroundings and a team that truly cares about making every guest feel welcome. "If you’re fine with wasps, come to this hotel. Food - If you like wasps, then you can at least eat. Corfu has a problem for sure at this time of year, but the measures put in place to control this are not acceptable. The food without wasps 2/5. Top tip, eat after 9pm for any chance of peace. Room - Okay, one of the better parts - apart from the bathroom. The room is a bodge job “newly refurbished”. The shower doesn’t have a correct draining system, so 4 mins max shower or you’ll flood! Bathroom always covered with ants and put together with cement. Service - Apart from one guy on the front, I genuinely don’t know where the staff are? They’re not polite and make you feel like a burden. They were not helpful with the issues we were having. All-Inclusive - Farce. The classic, you get 20% of Ala Carte restaurant (which is just the normal restaurant). If you’re happy with 1 choice of beer, syrup cola and no fresh juice, go for it! But in the end we opted for the local mini-mart! Location - It’s got great views. Nice bar and local family restaurant up the hill. But yeah the hill… if you’re not good with walking or are elderly, this ain’t for you. It’s steep… Pool - The pool was one of the better parts, again wasps… sunbathe after 1pm. Overall 1/5 - the holiday was good because we could sleep and relax. We made it our own in the end, but nothing from the hotel stands out at all. The basics in customer service just doesn’t exist here, a simple “good morning” would help… a star needs removing. 3 ⭐ Thanks!"
