"My partner and I stayed during the first week of the season (1st–8th April), arriving on opening day. We had seen a mix of reviews beforehand, but for the price and overall quality (a 4-star, all-inclusive hotel with beautiful aesthetics), you really can’t go wrong.
For the first few days, there were only around six other couples/families staying, which made the hotel feel peaceful and almost exclusive. It was exactly what we were hoping for. The hotel and outdoor areas were immaculate—spotlessly clean and very well maintained—and the staff truly couldn’t do enough for us. They were always friendly and helpful, even turning up the heating in our room on the first night when it felt chilly, offering an extra quilt, and providing additional towels and pillows whenever we asked.
Our room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels for both the bathroom and the beach/pool replenished every day, and bins emptied regularly. There’s also a shop on-site where you can buy extra towels if needed.
The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and spotless. The shower was spacious and powerful, and also cleaned daily. The water temperature fluctuated slightly once or twice before dinner (which is understandable when many guests are showering at the same time). As is common in Greece, tissues are disposed of in a bin rather than flushed, but this was emptied daily and quickly became normal.
Free Wi-Fi was provided on arrival and worked well throughout our stay. There was a TV in the room, but we didn’t use it as we spent very little time indoors.
After the first few days, more guests arrived, and while most were fine, a few were less respectful of shared spaces. This may explain some of the negative reviews we had seen, as it certainly wasn’t a reflection of the hotel itself. Once those guests left, the atmosphere and tidiness improved again.
Aesthetically, a few small touches could enhance the space—such as framed menus at the bar, some flowers, or even fairy lights to make it feel a bit warmer. Blankets available in the evenings would also be a lovely addition.
The ladies’ toilets did have working locks (contrary to something we had seen online), and they were consistently clean and well-stocked.
The cocktails were great, although strength varied slightly depending on the bartender. There’s also a rooftop bar open in the evenings, which comes at an extra cost but offers a more exclusive and relaxed experience—definitely a nice change from the main bar.
The food was good, with plenty of variety—something for everyone, even if you’re a picky eater like me. Everything was fresh, hot, and well presented, and we had no issues at all. There’s even a microwave available if you want your food extra hot.
The hotel is in a great location, with lovely walks and beaches nearby. There’s also a bus stop right outside, with a coach that takes you to the Old Town in around 30 minutes.
Many local shops, cafés, and bars don’t open until mid-April or even May, but as the hotel is all-inclusive and offers a good standard, this wasn’t a problem. We did venture out a couple of times to Barbati and ate at Starlight, which was amazing, and also enjoyed a trip to the Old Town.
The hotel offers well-timed breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner, plus evening entertainment like local bands, dancers and movie nights, which was a lovely touch. There’s plenty of seating, along with table tennis, a pool table, and board/card games available (some to purchase in the shop, which also stocks souvenirs and essentials).
Overall, the hotel met—and even exceeded—our expectations for the price. Of course, there will always be people who find something to complain about, but from our experience, the staff were incredibly accommodating and did their best to address any concerns.
The only thing we would have loved is for staff to wear name badges so we could personally thank them, as they were all fantastic—friendly, polite, and hardworking. We genuinely don’t have anything negative to say."
