NYX Hotel Hamburg

"We spent a weekend at this hotel and were completely satisfied. The check-in as well as the check-out went completely smoothly. The staff at the reception was extremely friendly and accommodating. The entire hotel and also our room were clean and well-maintained. The room and the bathroom are functionally and modernly furnished. There is enough storage space and shelf space - even in the bathroom. The shower has decent water pressure and doesn't just trickle along. The beds were comfortable and since the hotel is located on a side street, it is also very quiet. No street noise and also no rowdy tourists. There is a coffee machine and a refrigerator in the room and you can get free water at the reception at any time. The breakfast buffet was excellent and left nothing to be desired. There is also a huge selection here for vegetarians and vegans. The staff in the breakfast room was incredibly friendly and attentive. It was constantly being restocked, cleaned, and the coffee machine was taken care of. The hotel seems to have the currently rather rare luxury of really good and motivated staff at its disposal. We highly recommend this hotel without reservation. Anyone who books here cannot go wrong."

"I was able to spend 2 nights in this wonderful hotel, and I must say that I felt very comfortable. It was generally quiet, which is rather unusual for city hotels. Apparently, the insulation here is really good. The room (3rd floor, view of the water) was very clean and spacious; everything necessary was provided. Upon request, I received a large water bottle in my room. The breakfast buffet is great; there is a lot of variety and good quality. You can sit wonderfully in the back area with a view of the water. I also really liked the style of the hotel; everything looks modern and beautiful. The location is also good; the S-Bahn station is quite close, and you are in the center of Hamburg in 2-3 stops (a few minutes travel time). I would choose this hotel again when I come to Hamburg. Highly recommended!"

"Room was very clean with nice smelling shower products and body cream. Make up mirror and hairdryer were also provided. Full pillows and good mattress. Room service and towels are not done daily unless explicitly requested (you have to do it yourself via the small iPad that is in the room). This is a big flaw especially with the current hot temperatures. This was also not communicated at check-in. Underground parking is also very expensive: 25 euros per night! The offer in the restaurant in the evening is very limited. The breakfast, on the other hand, is very extensive and tasty."
