"We stayed for five nights in July and very much enjoyed our stay. The room was nicely decorated, a decent size and the beds comfortable. It was very quiet. There are many restaurants close by. The lift is old but worked well. We appreciated the many stairs as a way to burn calories. Only minor complaints: Breakfast was good but at 22€, too expensive. The shower is very small and it was difficult to prevent the shower curtain from clinging unpleasantly. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Berlin."

"A gem of a hotel located on two floors of a beautiful old building -- complete with an art deco elevator -- in the heart of the Charlottenburg area in (west) Berlin. Rooms were comfortable and very quiet and the breakfast is steps away in a beautiful dining room filled with flowers and art, lined with windows looking out onto the street. It's serve-yourself, but you can order eggs and a cappucino at no extra charge. the dining room remains open if you'd like to use the honor bar, or just sit and write or read at one of the tables. The proprietors are friendly and relaxed (they speak english), and the entire staff are welcoming and ready to help, if you need it. I can't say enough good things about Hotel Art Nouveau, which is truly delightful. We will definitely be back!"
