Hotel ibis Toulouse Centre

"Stayed here in mid May. Location was 5 minutes walk from Jeanne d'Arc Metro station. So easily reached by public transport, including the airport shuttle bus. The room was quite small and a little tired, as was the shower room/toilet. When we arrived the weather was terrible, cold and wet and our clothes were very damp. The heating didn't appear to be working to dry our clothes. The girl on reception told me that the heating was turned off in May for the summer. There was however a wall mounted heater in the bathroom that would run for a couple of minutes at a time. So we ended up drying our clothes that way. The following week, the weather was 35C+. Breakfast was very good, the cheese selection made it for me. The staff that I spoke to seemed friendly. I think next time I would go for somewhere a little larger and more modern rooms, but if they were unavailable, I would stay here again."

"We have just arrived at the Ibis Hotel in Toulouse and unfortunately our first impression has been very disappointing. The hotel parking was full, and we were unable to park our car. When we asked the reception for help, they did not offer any assistance, alternatives, or suggestions for nearby parking. The attitude was indifferent and unwelcoming, which was especially frustrating after arriving tired from a long journey. As hotel guests, we expected at least basic guidance or support in resolving the situation. Hospitality means helping guests when they need it, and sadly this was not our experience at all. This lack of assistance created unnecessary stress and made us feel unwelcome."

"Ibis hotels are often well-located, clean and basic. This one fits the rule. It’s only a 10 minute walk from the station, WiFi worked well, breakfast was reasonably sufficient and staff (on the whole) were friendly and helpful. There were only a few niggles. I’d booked this hotel as it had a restaurant, but this was closed at the weekend. I asked reception for a kettle but was informed that only the superior rooms had kettles! How silly! A local restaurant was recommended but it was extremely expensive - a main was almost the same price as one night in the hotel! Toulouse is a very interesting city. This Ibis was very reasonably priced (£53 per night with breakfast) and a good place to stay in Toulouse."
