"We booked a Junior Suite and it was perfect. The separate bedroom with door was perfect for our family travelling. The bathroom was very small and it would have been nice to have some toiletries provided. The room was small but perfectly functional and comfortable. The location was good, we enjoyed being in the latin quarter. Air Conditioning was welcome as it was very hot outside. Would stay again."

"‼️‼️‼️‼️ I would seriously consider before staying at Hotel Le Clement. I left my purse with all my bank cards in my room every day I stayed here, as I figured it’d be safer than taking it out (with pick pocketing in Paris near to attractions). They were left inside the wardrobe, inside a handbag, inside a storage bag, inside my purse. I noticed the morning after the room had been cleaned, I had strange transactions on my Chase debit card. I knew this was strange as I hadn’t used that card this trip. My Chase debit card was also missing from my purse. I hadn’t taken these out of the room once during the trip, so I asked reception if their cleaners were in house or hired in. They said in house, and have worked there over 20 years. I then went on to explain that since the room clean, my bank card had gone missing and there were strange transactions at a nearby tobacconist around 7am. Firstly, I was asleep at that time, and secondly, I don’t smoke or drink. The hotel did absolutely nothing to help, and said I needed to file a report with the police, and ask the tobacconist for CCTV footage. The point is it made me feel completely violated and totally unsafe in the hotel. They should NOT have been going through my things. I am extremely lucky my passport and other valuables etc weren’t taken. The hotel asked why I didn’t use the safe, however 1. we were given 0 information that the safe was in the room (it was tucked away behind a blanket in a wardrobe), and 2. THE LONG-TERM CLEANERS SHOULD NOT BE GOING THROUGH GUESTS PRIVATE POSSESSIONS AND STEALING THEIR BELONGINGS. To make matters worse, I have come home, and I noticed some strange transactions on my Barclays credit card, only to then realise that it was also no longer in my wallet. The money was spent TODAY in France, even though I got home YESTERDAY. Don’t stay here if you want to feel completely unsafe and violated. Staff will refuse to do anything to help anyway. I will be reporting them to French authorities."

"Stay away! Mold, they give your room key to anyone, and they sneak into your room. We left this hotel three nights early and moved to another hotel in the middle of our trip. Here is why. 1) The front desk requires you to hand in your room key every time you leave the building, and they do not check who collects it. We tested this. We went to the desk and asked for the key to a room that was not ours. They handed it over. No ID was asked for, no name, no verification of any kind. 2) Also, we hung the do-not-disturb sign on our door and went out. When we came back, staff had been inside. The room had not been cleaned. A towel that had been on the floor had been picked up; someone had crossed the room to the patio, opened the window, and extended the patio awning. Our belongings were out in the open the whole time. We raised it at the front desk. We were told the hotel enters rooms regardless of the do-not-disturb sign. We asked to see that policy in writing. Nothing was produced. It is not posted in the room, it was not mentioned at check-in, and there is nothing about it on their website or in their FAQ. 3) There was mold throughout the bathroom, on the clothesline hanger, and a slight smell. We gave up the last three nights of our booking, in peak August, and moved out. Location is great though."
