"Stay away! Mold, they give your room key to anyone, and they sneak into your room. We left this hotel three nights early and moved to another hotel in the middle of our trip. Here is why.
1) The front desk requires you to hand in your room key every time you leave the building, and they do not check who collects it. We tested this. We went to the desk and asked for the key to a room that was not ours. They handed it over. No ID was asked for, no name, no verification of any kind.
2) Also, we hung the do-not-disturb sign on our door and went out. When we came back, staff had been inside. The room had not been cleaned. A towel that had been on the floor had been picked up; someone had crossed the room to the patio, opened the window, and extended the patio awning. Our belongings were out in the open the whole time.
We raised it at the front desk. We were told the hotel enters rooms regardless of the do-not-disturb sign. We asked to see that policy in writing. Nothing was produced. It is not posted in the room, it was not mentioned at check-in, and there is nothing about it on their website or in their FAQ.
3) There was mold throughout the bathroom, on the clothesline hanger, and a slight smell.
We gave up the last three nights of our booking, in peak August, and moved out.
Location is great though."
