Hotel de Nesle

"This is a budget level place to stay. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There is no elevator so you could be climbing up to 90 stairs if your room is on the 5th floor. Our room only had a few wall hangers to hang things, but nowhere to unpack or store clothes. Small shower cubicle, but nice hot water. Our room had quaint paintings on the walls, very unique. Location is great, walking to cafes, the Louvre, Notre Dame, metro station, the River Seine etc"

"We had a wonderful stay, Mohammed the manager was top drawer,very knowledgeable of the city and nothing was too much trouble . We will most definitely be back . The room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable,it was worth paying the extra to have a private bathroom. The location is perfect very near everywhere we used the batobus to get around."

"Over all loved it! There is some truth to the negative comments for which reason this place is not for you, but for us it was perfect! We were on the top floor it true a lot of steps but we survived! The room was cute and very spacious with its own bathroom and toilet! Lucky because otherwise we wouldn’t have enjoyed our time, but it was a nice room! we could park our car so that was also super good! Location is excellent you really can’t ask for anything better in Paris! Those who says it’s noisy: yes it is but you cannot expect to be in the middle of the city and have no noise at all. Over all we loved it, but it is not for everyone if you are a picky person I definitely recommend to stay somewhere else if ur easy going this is ur place "
