Ibis budget Roissy CDG Paris Nord 2

"It does what it says on the tin. You pay for what you get. It is a 2 star budget hotel so you can’t expect that much. What you can expect is it being clean, safe and should make life easy. It was clean, it was fine security wise and I liked how they had number codes on doors. It was easy to get to and from the airport and about a 8 mins cheap Uber. Equally you can make it to Disneyland book an Uber and take 35/ 40mins at a cost of 40/45 euros so if you’re on a budget this is not bad. We were not in the room that much. It’s fine for an overnight stay if you want to get your head down. The member of staff who was on the front desk on the evening of 18th was very good. He went over and above by finding a spare charger to loan and facilitating change to use the vending machine which are a good addition. They had a nice lobby area and we didn’t have breakfast but the area looked good and decent options. I agree with the other reviews that it was warm but it is winter and we found it ok better than being cold however in the summer I can imagine it might be too much however our window opened so that might be helpful. Soundproofing wasn’t great. There was a very squeaky bed on the first night but on the second night it was very quiet!! Obviously an airport hotel with lots of comings and goings bags being wheeled, doors banging but not too bad. Yes, the bunk bed was unmade, but it didn’t take too long 5 mins to make up. I suppose they do it because the bunk beds might not be used all the time however if they know an extra person is in the room it really doesn’t take long for them to do this so it really should be done by the hotel. The separate shower and toilet area was decent, yes it’s translucent, but if you’re sharing a room with people you know it really isn’t an issue I don’t think. On the whole a decent cheap option and if you are on a budget for the likes of Disneyland. Cheap accommodation, transport and low cost airlines then it makes it achievable. If you’ve got a few thousand go for the whole Disney experience, if like us and you do things on a shoestring this is the way to do it. We had a great time and would do it that way again."

"Although I did not stay at Ibis Budget Roissy-CDG Paris Nord 2, my payment was charged and my refund was never approved. This clearly shows that guest satisfaction is not a priority. It is very disappointing to see that a well-established, global chain like Accor does not prioritize guest satisfaction and that inexperienced staff are handling such matters. Communication via phone and email was frustrating and dismissive. As a traveler, I expect hotels to prioritize their guests, provide clear information, and act professionally—unfortunately, this was not my experience here. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves the guest experience in the future."

"I had to to my own bed, we booked a 2 beds room and one of the beds just had the sheets and duvet folded on top of the bed! Some guests mistakenly tried to enter in our room at 1am in an arrogant way and the staff didn’t really care about the situation! Not enough towels! We were 3 people in the room and we had just 3 bath towels (very small ones) not even one hand towel or a bath mat!"
