Hotel Les Herbes Folles

"Great value, charming property, close to the airport! We booked this place for our last night in Paris based on good reviews. We had an early morning flight and didn’t want to be stressed in getting to the airport. However, we didn’t have super high expectations. This place was terrific - the room was well-designed and very comfortable. (We were in the separate building - in an “executive room.” The blackout shades overlapped in a way that it really blocked out sunlight. The outlets were in places that made sense (near mirrors so I could blow dry my hair). The windows must have been soundproof because I don’t remember hearing airplanes. It was also air conditioned. While there weren’t any sights to see in this little neighborhood, we enjoyed a delicious dinner on the patio at the restaurant. Then we went for a walk in the neighborhood and watched lots of planes taking off. It was a perfect relaxing evening after an otherwise busy Paris vacation. I should also mention that it was about 1/3 of the price of most Paris hotels I had looked into. I would not stay here intending to explore Paris (too far), but for the night before a flight, it was perfect."

"Booked this hotel 27th to 29th May for Champions League Final. Two weeks before I was due to attend the hotel cancelled the booking. They obviously hadn't realised it was that weekend. I went back on the hotel site and saw the room I had previously booked available for over double the price. Shameful greedy behaviour."

"This my 4th trip to Paris, & I wish I had discovered this lovely, countryside hotel long ago! Les Herbes Folles is made from a former farmhouse, & was a perfect, peaceful place to end a rather hectic stay in Paris. The room was immaculate, & charmingly decorated. It didn’t feel “Hotel-like”. The toilet was even separate from the rest of the bathroom. Dinner was available from 7-10.PM. It had a choice of 2 appetizers, main courses, & dessert. My quinoa salad, saltimbocca, & chocolate mousse were superb! Breakfast featured yogurt, ham, eggs, fresh bread, pain au chocolat, & croissants. Also a choice of cereals & juices, coffee & tea. The staff was so welcoming, & professional. A private car was made available for the 10 minute drive to the airport. (I came to the hotel via a taxi from the center of Paris.) All this, & the price was very reasonable. My one complaint is that my stay was too short! I will be telling everyone who travels about this special hotel."
