voco Paris Montparnasse

"We have stayed in many hotels from one star to six in Paris over the years but this hotel was top notch. We arrived at the hotel from Montparnasse Gare station and it was only a couple of minutes walk. The booking in was straight forward and we were soon off to our room. The room was clean and tidy as was the bathroom and the bedding was nice too. The tv in the room had more channels than one could count, with four English channels amongst the number which was a bonus; most hotels just show BBC World Service. We didn't dine at the hotel as there numerous restaurants near by. We don't pass comment on sleep quality as you either have a good sleep or you don't - simple really. The hotel is ideal for those want to walk to the Eiffel Tower and the areas around Montparnasse - you can (we did) walk to the Left bank and get Metro back. If your going into Paris catch the Metro at Saint Placide (on the Rue Rennes) as going into the metro at Montparnasse Gare is a nightmare. An excellent hotel in a good location with excellent staff what more do you want. Bon journey"

"Room : Good Size because we took the larger room other wise maybe Paris size rooms Did not take breakfast enough bakeries outside and supermarket Did not offer us the IHG discount said its not applicable in their hotel which is so surprising and IHG needs to clarify Restaurants are a walk then lots so of its raining difficult then Well at the price we paid really not worth it Better options if we hunt for them Reception staff was always helpful Supermarket nearby 2 of them"

"We stayed there for 3-nights which was actually quite good for the price we paid. The room was a little bit small but it was OK for us. The staff there were very friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back when we are next in Paris"
