"I recently stayed here w/ my girlfriend for a 3 night stay in August. I originally booked a King Privilege room. About a week before my arrival I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I was upgraded to a Queen Junior Suite. I requested early check-in, but when we arrived around 2PM we were told that our room wouldn't be ready until 3PM, which was fine because it's not guaranteed and we had a 3:30 PM Louvre Museum appointment anyway. The front desk was able to secure our luggage until we came back later in the day, which was great.
We came back to the hotel around 6PM and went to our Queen Junior Suite room. It was very nice, with a living room type area on the first level with a couch, TV and desk, and the bedroom and shower/bathroom on the second floor, which you get to by a small spiral staircase. Unfortunately the air conditioning wasn't working on the bedroom level, so I went to the front desk and was helped by Mohamed to change my room. I just asked for a room that has working air conditioning. He informed me that the original King Privilege room I booked wasn't available, but that they had a Queen Privilege room, which I took.
The room, like many in Europe, is quite small. There's not much room for storing luggage or anything else. Thankfully there was a small closet with a small clothes rack, iron and ironing board next to the bed. The bathroom was a decent size and had a nice walk-in shower. There was liquid body soap, hair shampoo and conditioner provided on the inside shower wall like most hotels today; I prefer bar soap, so had brought my own. The one thing that I found odd on both of my European stays (Dublin and Paris) at separate chain hotels is the fact that I had to request face cloths, as they were not provided in the bathrooms initially. The front desk explained that they started doing this during COVID, and now you have to request them. There is also a nice Nespresso machine in the room, which is a nice touch. I did not try the hotel restaurant or breakfast, so I cannot speak to that.
The location of the hotel is a little bit outside of the center of Paris, which I like. The area is quiet, and I had o trouble with noise of sleeping. There's a market/convenience store basically right across the street from the hotel, which is nice to pickup some foodstuffs and anything else you may need. It also has some small restaurants/cafe's right along Rue Raymond Losserand street. There are also a good selection of restaurants around the hotel area within reasonable walking distance (~2 miles or less). One specific restaurant in the area I highly recommend is Bistrotters. There is a metro station (Metro Pernety) right down the street from the hotel, which is great for getting into central Paris. Uber is also very accessible in the area, and fares are reasonable."
