Hotel and Spa La Belle Juliette

"This is a small, boutique-type hotel, in a wonderful neighborhood on the Left Bank. It is conveniently and highly accessible by metro, but it is not in a highly-trafficked tourist area. There are excellent restaurants and a good array of retail shops and services (supermarket, patisseries, pharmacies, etc.) as well as the Bon Marche department store in the neighborhood. My husband and I had a very pleasant stay at the Belle Juliette. The hotel staff was kind and helpful. We would like to especially thank "Junior' -- we do not know his actual name but he identified himself this way -- who was especially attentive to all the guests' needs in the breakfast room. A small point that could be addressed -- at times, the housekeeping was a bit inconsistent. Various items (washcloths, hand towels, tissues) were provided on some days, while on others we had to request such. Nevertheless, we are grateful to all of the staff for taking care of us during our very recent stay."

"The rooms are beautiful and housekeeping is very tidy. There is some street noise at night but the hotel provides ear plugs. We chose the hotel because it has a steam room, which I do prefer on holidays, but unfortunately the steam room was out of order during the whole week we stayed there. Breakfast was not varied, but adequate. The location is well serviced by many restaurants, a nearby laundromat and pharmacy."
