You can’t visit Paris without swinging by the Eiffel Tower. Built by Gustave Eiffel in 1889 to commemorate the centennial of the French Revolution, it towers over the city at 330 metres high. Make sure you climb to the very top for sweeping views of the Parisian skyline.
