Campanile Paris XIV - Maine Montparnasse

"I’d avoid and book elsewhere, had a room booked for 9 months then was cancelled due to an apparent issue with my card. I contacted my bank after making Hotels.com aware that the hotel were threatening to just cancel my booking, the bank confirmed there was no issue with my card. But the hotel insisted there was and cancelled my booking, leaving my travel plans uncertain. The worst thing is they didn’t seem to care about me as a future guest at all, which makes me think they realized they sold the room too cheaply and wanted to re-let it for a higher price. Particularly as I booked their Prestige room. If you’re looking for a professionally run hotel that values customers and honours it’s bookings, then I would definitely look elsewhere. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!!!"

"Great location by Gaite metro and Montparnasse station. Charming lobby. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. CLEAN, renovated rooms. Maid was terrific and towels were aplenty! We upgraded upon arrival to a bigger room with a terrace for a reasonable fee. Large tub/shower and a nice area with a desk for working. Breakfast was lovely. Room 611 was quiet! Walking distance to several restaurants we enjoyed (La Rotunde, Le Dome, La Coupole). Very safe neighborhood. Loved that I could get a drink (soda and wine) no matter what time I arrived back at the hotel. We usually stay in a 4 star hotel but this hotel came with the package we bought and we were not disappointed!"

"Fairly central location with lots of great restaurants and bars close by. Nearest metro is Gaite and Montparnasse down the road in a 15 min walk. Rooms were very clean but functional but had everything you would need with beds made and clean towels every day. Breakfast was amazing value with hot food as well as continental options. Great staff. Highly recommend"
