"The location is brilliant, about a 7min walk to The Louvre and even less to wonderful restaurants and cafes. Our room was comfortable with enough space for our suitcases and the bathroom was a good size (not so common in Europe we discovered). Staff were friendly and attentive. They even organised well priced airport transfers. Breakfast is well priced, but basic. Would absolutely stay again."

"Lovely small hotel in central Paris. It’s not fancy, but rooms cleaned daily, bed linen good, and the staff on Reception are really helpful. Limited room facilities with no safe or coffee facilities but there’s a hairdryer. The very small lift runs from the first floor. I’d definitely recommend as a sensibly priced hotel near to everything."

"The Hotel Opera Maintenon is a little tired physically but everything else makes up for that. Lovely staff, amazing location and comfortable rooms. No tea and coffee making facilities is a shame. No lift to first floor which is tough with heavy bags. Overall the comfort location and reception far outweighs any downsides. Excellent value for money. "
