"This was our second visit here, and it was a pleasure to return. This is a small hotel, which we vastly prefer to a big impersonal establishment. We were had a lovely corner room with lots of windows, and opted for the breakfast, served in a nice space in the lower level. it had enough choices to make a good start to our day. On our first stay here in 2024, I used the breakfast room for a 3 am Zoom meeting! The staff was pleasant and helpful, and offered one of the best tips of our trip: get to Notre Dame before 9am for easy entry. We arrived at 8:30, on a holiday (Remembrance Day) and walked right in, no line at all. Seeing the newly renovated Notre Dame was at the top of my list so it was nice to do this without battling crowds. We also paid for the hotel's arranged transfers from the train station and to CDG. It made our arrival and departure stress free.
Ile Saint Louis is an excellent central location with restaurants and shops, and an easy walk to the Marais district, Ile de la Cite, and two metro stations. Our favorite restaurant was Sorza, reservations for dinner essential, although we were able to walk in for lunch."
