Novotel Paris La Defense Nanterre

"We stayed overnight here & had a wonderful stay. The reception staff were welcoming from the start and couldn’t do enough for us. We were lucky enough to be upgraded and had two lovely adjoining rooms giving us extra space as a family. The children were given welcome packs on arrival which added to the excitement. This was our first trip to Paris and we had a wonderful stay at the Novotel. It’s only a short walk from RER A so easily accessible to central Paris with the benefit of being able to come away from the busy crowds in the evening, to an area that felt quiet and safe. Thanks for giving us a wonderful first experience in Paris"

"A good hotel, but a series of negatives means we would not stay again. The hotel is modern, clean and well located for trips into Paris on the RER. Parking was also right next door and fairly priced in my opinion. However, the room was too hot to be comfortable. The in-room air conditioning is not activated outside of the summer months. The front desk staff were unable to help. More annoyingly, our room (309) was above the dining room. From 6am we were subject to the most annoying noise of scraping of chairs as diners maneuvered themselves during breakfast. We are used to hearing noise from the floor above in hotels, but noise from the floor below was a first. Not a great way to the start the day."

"We stayed at Novotel Paris La Défense Nanterre in a spacious hotel studio, which was more than big enough for our family of four. The room was beautifully designed and the kitchenette was well-equipped with a fridge, microwave, grill, oven, pots and pans, and plates and bowls—though surprisingly, no cutlery was provided. The cleaning service was consistent and maintained a high standard throughout our stay. Breakfast was provided by the hotel and had a good selection, though it could benefit from more hot options. The mini bar was very limited, offering only one can each of Coke, water, and Orangina; a wider selection of drinks and snacks such as chocolate or extra water would have been appreciated. The pool was unfortunately closed during our visit, and the on-site restaurant was closed as it is separately owned. Evening access to the hotel required buzzing in, even when holding key cards, which was slightly inconvenient—key card integration for automatic entry would improve the experience. We particularly appreciated the Brita filtered water stations throughout the hotel—they were a thoughtful and environmentally friendly touch. The location is excellent, with close proximity to transport links, making it easy to explore central Paris or take a short train ride to Disneyland Paris. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay. The studio was comfortable and practical for a family, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel’s facilities and location made it a convenient base for sightseeing and family trips. With a few minor improvements—expanded breakfast and mini bar options, pool access, and evening entry—the Novotel Paris La Défense Nanterre would be an even more exceptional choice for families."
