Best Western Rives de Paris La Defense

"We booked via the Best Western (UK) website over a month before our planned arrival. We’re members of the BW loyalty scheme and familiar with their hotels. I was very concerned to start receiving pestering WhatsApp messages a week after booking, demanding I follow a link to reconfirm my card details before arrival - bearing in mind I’d provided them directly to BW as part of the booking process. On following the link, the system then asked for my actual bank details and not my card, a red flag to me. As a result, I’ve cancelled the reservation as the pre-arrival experience is not what I’m used to or would expect. Be warned!"

"As far as budget hotels go, this is a relatively safe bet. We were welcomed by Walid who was exceptionally helpful. The room was a little tired and rather basic, but this is reflected in the price and if you're in Paris, you probably aren't spending much time in the room anyway. The bed was comfortable and we had a great view from room 303 and watched the Eiffel Tower sparkle from our window on the first night which was magical. The only actual complaint about the room was that the shower temperature is very inconsistent so you are either freezing or being scalded. The neighbourhood is really clean and safe, and is well connected via the bus network. There are some great bakeries and places to eat just a short walk away but it's also easy to jump on the bus and be at Grand Palais in 30 minutes or so!"

"I stayed at this beautiful hotel located in the heart of La Défense, a modern, charming, and very clean area. As for the hotel itself, I immediately felt safe: the Best Western brand is, in my experience, a guarantee of quality, cleanliness, and friendly service—and it did not disappoint this time either. During my two-day stay, the staff was always present, helpful, and professional. The room (303) was impeccable: very clean, comfortable, and cozy. I especially appreciated the coffee machine and kettle in the room, thoughtful touches that made the stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was also excellent—plentiful and varied, with a wide selection of both sweet and savory options. The only downside was the deposit required at check-in, but aside from that, the experience was absolutely positive. A hotel I highly recommend—I will definitely return!
