"The hotel is centrally located and ideally situated around the corner from all the bars, restaurants and cafes in the old town. The rooms were very quiet, with windows opening out into a courtyard. The building, though kept in good condition, is quite old. There are three floors and NO LIFTS. The en-suite bathrooms are TINY, the "bathtub" a glorified basin that would be impossible to get into if you were any taller than five-foot-two. This is NOT the place to stay in for more than a couple of nights. Rooms were clean and painted in bright and friendly colours. Towels and accessories were sparse but what do you expect for €50/night in central Nantes? Bed was low but fairly comfortable. Linens were not changed nightly, and there are those annoying laminated cards asking people to "care for the environment" and crapping on about how much hot water and soap is wasted on washing towels, etc etc. Ignore and insist on your towels and linens to be washed if in any doubt."
