"My parents have just returned from a trip to Nantes, they stayed at the Hotel de la Gare and plan to return. Luc & Delphine were warm and friendly, informative and extremely good hosts. If you are looking for a place to stay whilst in Nantes then look no further the Hotel de la Gare is friendly, affordable, clean, comfortable and deserving of 5 * for their lovely hotel"

"We have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions. Luc and Delphine Archer are the owners. They are both friendly and provide excellent service. They are very knowlegeable about Nantes and all of its delights. The rooms are clean and bright and they serve a continental breakfast. They are located close to the train station and within walking distance of the downtown and all of its wonderful sights."

"This clean, quiet hotel, very convenient to railway travelers is a gem. The owner and his wife are hospitable and extremely knowledgeable about the history of Nantes and are happy to share this in French, English or Spanish. The hotel is a couple of blocks in either direction from the city chateau and Jardin des plantes. Breakfast is excellent. Baggage is no problem with handy elevator. Hard to find fault with this place."
