La Tartane Hotel

"While this is a beautiful boutique hotel in a good location the service and experience are very disappointing. It is a fine choice if you are going off season and paying 500 euros per night but to pay 2500 euros per night for this service was criminal. Firstly, the entire hotel has been hijacked by Gaia and there is zero flexibility for dining or room service to offer you anything but the Gaia menu. It also means the pool area becomes off limits to hotel guests from 6.30pm to accommodate the dinner service and there is loud music that can be heard from your room throughout the night. No one informs you of this at booking and frankly we would have stayed somewhere else if we knew. Any attempt to share this feedback was completely ignored Secondly, the rooms are on the small side and housekeeping was not what you would expect in a 5 star hotel. Several times it was late well into late afternoon and or sub standard. The shower is also problematic and flooded the bathroom and room during our stay which took maintenance 20mins to attend to On the plus side the shuttle service is reliable and the hotel manager is actually very pleasant and professional. Unfortunately it seems his team do not share this with him and I get the sense his hands are tied to the contact with Gaia. Quite unfortunate"

"Very beautiful hotel with a stunning swimming pool. Love the restaurant at the hotel as well. Perfect place to stay, very convenient location yet not too close and not too far from where everything is happening. So it’s a good place to relax."

"Very nice hotel 5-6 minutes drive from St.Tropez city center. Excellent shuttle service. The rooms are quite small, but cozy. Very clean. Loved the bed linen. Our room had a small garden terrace which was nice. Was missing a proper shower area, no walls or anything around the shower and the bathroom ended up wet all around. Staff is very friendly and service minded. Pool area is really fresh and chic. Food was great. Gaia restaurant is recommended. Breakfast was also very nice and fresh. Lots of delicious juices and herbal shots. Also a à la carte menu. 15-20 minutes to the Pampellone beach. Short walk to plage de saline which is calm and authentic with great food. Would definitely go back."
