La Bastide de Saint-Tropez

"I am absolutely disgusted and appalled by my recent stay at this hotel because my expensive watch was stolen directly out of my room electronic safe. I have been a loyal returning customer here for a long time but after this nightmare I will never step foot in this place again. This was not a random outsider sneak in, someone from the hotel staff explicitly used a master key to override my safe and rob me. They clearly targeted my room because they knew there are no security cameras in the hallways making it completely impossible to track who entered and left. Management did absolutely nothing to help me and they are just hiding behind the lack of cameras to protect a literal thief on their own payroll. If you value your belongings and your safety do not stay here under any circumstances because your items are not safe even inside a locked safe and the staff absolutely cannot be trusted!"

"We stayed at this hotel for six nights and spent a considerable amount of money, but unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. While the setting is undeniably beautiful, the customer service was consistently poor. We were misled by staff at nearly every turn, and there was a clear lack of coordination and professionalism throughout our stay. The food was both overpriced and subpar — truly disappointing for a property that markets itself as high-end. What was most frustrating, however, was the attitude of management. There was no sense of hospitality or appreciation for their guests. When you’re paying this kind of money, you expect not only quality but basic courtesy. Sadly, we encountered neither. This could be a truly special destination, but until the staff and leadership understand what hospitality actually means, I would not recommend it."

"Absolutely outstanding hotel.... from the moment we checked in the staff could not do more to make us feel special and cared for.... Our room was so lovely and they were so attentive to all of our needs. We had a wonderful lunch and all of the staff are caring and engaging. The shuttle service is excellent and the entire hotel faultless.... luxury hospitality and caring staff who could not do enough to help and make our stay more special. Cant wait to stay again - would noy stay anywhere else in St Tropez - sensational hotel!!!"
