Villa Les Rosiers

"I stayed here on a work trip, with the necessity for being close to work. The staff were a little abrupt, especially to start, but warmed up over a day or two. The hotel is lovely, really has the feeling of a beautiful hotel from the 40's and 50's, with a lovely manicured back lawn and a pretty pool, with a view of the ocean and the incredible yachts moored there. The rooms are large with a cold stone floor, which was a relief (in the summer!). The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was large enough for two people, and the shower pressure was good enough, especially for Europe. (My only complaint that in the first two mornings the HK knocked and then came into my room, even though I was sleeping, but apologized when I shouted I was in bed). Would I stay here again? Absolutely! Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Have a glass of wine in the evening, and the staff bring a little plate to you with hors d'oeuvres. A really lovely place to stop for a visit, close to St Tropez and also the ocean across the road. Lots of parking."

"Went here for dinner - highly recommended, lovely boutique hotel / restaurant feel with tables round the pool. Classy food and excellent wine list but without extortion all price tag. . A change from fighting it out with the crowds at Port Grimaud / St Tropez / St Maxine. "

"We stayed here for four nights to attend a nearby wedding. I likened it to visiting your favourite Aunt and Uncle who just wanted to make you feel so welcome and spoil you. As you walk through the impressive entrance and see the beautiful view of the Golf of St. Tropez, you are immediately greeted by Ruth and Mark the proprietors. We chose one of the Superior Rooms with a balcony and views over the gardens and sea. The room and bathroom was adequate but for our next visit we will try one of the Junior Suites. Breakfast and lunch was excellent. Drinks are served around the pool all day and cocktails on the terrace precedes a memorable dinner. Some of the best restaurant food I have eaten for a long time. Far from the over crowded pool area of many hotels, the sun loungers are spaced to give you the feeling it is you own private pool. On our last day, we were the only new guests. The hotel was full but all other guests were repeats. In the previous six months, we had stayed in Mauritius, Maldives, Spain, Dubai and Turkey. I felt so much more relaxed at Les Rosiers than any of the other 5 Star hotels we visited. My thanks to Ruth, Mark and all the staff at Les Rosiers for their wonderful hospitality. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel."
