Hotel La Calanque

"We had an amazing 3 night stay with JP & his crew. The room was fantastic, it had a large terrace with swinging chairs & overlooked the beach & marina. Breakfast was delicious - the ham & cheese omelet was to die for!! The team were super attentive & nothing was too much trouble. We had the best 3 days & will definitely be returning. Thank you guys"

"La calanque offers a simple but fair menu at a very reasonable price. The settings are a cosy garden, however, next to a noisy street with too much traffic. The menu has a few simple starters of which some are good and some are not, main course and dessert. During our visit the restaurant was less than half full, but still we waited for more than 40 minutes for the first course and more than 40 minutes for our main course. When we asked when it could be expected we were told that our main course was an art piece so it would take time! What we ordered was a simple “mi cuit” tuna which should be easy to prepare - and if prepared correctly (mi cuit ) only a few minutes. When it arrived, the tuna did not seem to be fresh and the potatoes below the tuna were almost cold. We are not coming back in spite of the pleasant settings."

"We stayed overnight with our young family, enjoying the air conditioned accommodation (a god-send in the hot weather), comfortable beds and well equipped rooms. The shaded terraced restaurant is a real gem with views over the harbour. perfect at all times of the day. The food was incredible and service was first class.. we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and hope to return one day!"
