a unique experience
"In the heart of Khedive Cairo, a somewhat old building but still intact, the rooms are fairly clean, my room came with a balcony, the staff is not bad in treating customers, the room does not include breakfast, but breakfast can be bought at a reasonable price from the nearby shops, there are a lot of Local restaurants and international chains of restaurants such as McDonald's and KFC."
Exceeded My Expectations
"This hotel was a discovery for me! I originally booked a neighbor hotel, but when I arrived there at 3:00 AM they told me they were overbooked and had no room for me. Richmond House was the closed one, so I popped up without a reservation and the manager on reception was more than helpful. He only had one room available for just one night, so he let me take it with a good rate. He advised me to check again next day, and luckily they had a cancellation, so I continued my stay in another room. Both rooms were clean, nicely furnished in a traditional style. Beds were very comfortable. Hot water was always available. Cleaning lady was doing a great job. All staff I met were super friendly and went out of their way to assist. The location is convenient. If you walk out from the building, you will find many places to eat - from street vendors and fast food chain (KFC is 5 minutes walk) to decent restaurants. Tahrir Square and Egyptian Museum are around 15 minutes walk. I definitely recommend this hotel for a budget stay!"
Bad cleanness issues.
"The localization is amazing, very central, lots of mini supermarkets, patisseries, atm and restaurants around. The hotel is pretty nice decored, room size is big with air cond. The owner and staff team are very nice. First of all, if you have to ask for new sheets at check in, because it is dirty, defo is not a good first impression, if you have to ask twice because the sheets was also dirty is a terrible impression. Cleaning is a big issue in that place, included bathroom. Poor Wifi. Just a plug far from bed inside the room. I dont think so I would be back."
