"Beautiful old hotel close to all the main sites and next to the Tivioli gardens.Although the hotel is historic the rooms are updated with a comfortable bed and modern amenities. good breakfast.The concierge was particularly helpful in booking dinner reservations."

"The pros: The hotel is in a decent area, although not that close to the tourist attractions. It's on a busy street, but was pretty quiet, even being in a street level room. Overall, the hotel was attractive and clean. The cons: The bedding and mattress were truly awful. I realize mattress preferences are subjective, but it was the firmest and most uncomfortable bed I can recall. Both my wife and I woke up with very sore backs at multiple points during the night, and that never happens to either of us. The breakfast was very overpriced for the variety and quality of the food. They have a very nice terrace off of the lobby, along with a small menu, but having spent a few hours out there during our stay, we never saw a single staff member, and had to go downstairs to awkwardly order from the Marble Bar, where there's no place to just go order a drink when it's busy. Overall, I would not recommend staying here"
