"If this hotel were marketed as a budget option, I would easily give it a 5/5. However, as a 4-star hotel, it falls well short of expectations. The hotel clearly shows signs of age and neglect. The carpets were threadbare, the wardrobe was falling apart, and the light switches were broken. I had to request repeated repairs during my stay. The "single" room I was assigned was cramped, with two single beds squeezed into a space that would have been better suited for just one. I didn't need the second bed, but more space would have been greatly appreciated. Additionally, the placement of electrical sockets was inconvenient. One was awkwardly positioned at the side of the bed, while the other was near the door — neither was near the desk, making it difficult to charge devices or work comfortably. The neighbourhood surrounding the hotel was also a bit run down, which added to the overall feeling of disappointment. On a positive note, there was a fairly decent buffet breakfast included. However, if you're looking for a hot breakfast, the options were quite limited, with only three rotating items. The majority of the staff were excellent, friendly, and helpful, which did improve the overall experience. For the price and the rating, I expected a much higher standard. While the hotel might be fine for budget travellers, it's not what I would consider "4-star" quality."
