"Friendly and helpful staff. They have a great breakfast that came with our room purchase (eggs, sausage, fruit, pastries, etc). Laundry service is not on site. It is a good location and about a 10-15 minute walk to most locations you want to visit. Is just a short walk away from the Muzeum subway stop. We did the deluxe room. I think there is plenty of space in that room. Bed was comfortable. The downside is that the air conditioner needs to be about 20% stronger (especially in June) and the high bathtub with partially covered wall is an accident just waiting to happen or at least your bathroom floor will be soaked. I would come back if ever in Prague."

"If you don't mind staying amid the tourist throngs around St. Wenceslas Square (which are certainly more bearable in February), then this is a good choice. On a quiet street off the square, the Icon is within walking distance of just about all the sights in Stare Mesto, including the excellent metro and tram system. The neighborhood is fine now, but will be improved considerably once they finish all the construction work in the Square. There are lots of good restaurants and bars nearby, and the odd streetwalker out in the Square after 10PM is really no bother. The hotel itself is sleek and modern, and rooms are nothing special in the style department but are clean and well-appointed, with comfortable beds. Service from the front desk staff was a bit uneven--after 9PM or so they bring in night staff whose command of English (or even Czech) is a bit wobbly, and I did not find the staff particularly helpful on restaurant or similar recommendations. But the rates, especially out of core tourist season, were very reasonable, and the location can't be beat if you have a lot you want to see while in Prague."

"Great location, friendly staff and great breakfast. We got engaged on our trip and the staff brought a bottle of Prosecco to the room - lovely touch. Good breakfast choices. Clean rooms - although they do get warm so we had to open the window a few times. Would highly recommend."
