"Wonderful hotel in a quiet neighborhood, a short walk to Strahov Monastery and Brewery, Prague Castle and Royal Grounds and several museums and restaurants. It is also an east walk downhill to Mala Strana....uphill on the way back. But if you don't want to walk the Pohorelec tram stop, including #22, is a very short walk away. Super convenient to Malostranska and a short walk across the bridge to Old Town. In the evening the neighborhood is very quiet. Our room was clean, comfortable and generously sized. We ate breakfast at the hotel a few mornings and the food was delicious. The breakfast room has beautiful views of Prague and the monastery. Staff was great! We highly recommend the hotel if you're looking for something in a quieter neighborhood. We will be back!"

"We stayed just outside the old town on our first visit, so it was great to stay near the castle on the top of the hill (away from the crowds). The walk to the old town was a pleasant downhill walk, and the return was a pleasant invigorating climb. The breakfast was superb and the staff was very helpful. I would stay here again. It was recommended by a friend who has very good hotel judgement."

"This is not a typical 4 star. The rooms are all different and beautiful but it is not run as a 4 star. Beware: there is a step which is covered by carpet making it invisible. This meant I had a fall. The staff person on duty was entirely indifferent. No management response."
