"They can’t be blamed for the Tram works that has turned their frontage into a building site, but they can take credit for the warm welcome, lovely rooms, great housekeeping service and excellent breakfast. We were helpfully allocated a room at the back, not a great view but avoided the noise of the building works. Upside include a really central Location, the excellent Fat Cat restaurant on site and the Cold War Bunker room to visit in the hotel basement."

"Jalta boutique hotel is in the heart of the city within walking distance of the Karlsbrug and the old square with the astronomical clock. It is on the 750-meter long and 60-meter wide boulevard with restaurants, shops, hotels, and clubs. We got an upgrade to a luxury room. What is strange is that we received the upgrade with 2 couples, but the rooms, which were directly next to each other, were seriously different in terms of room size, bathroom, and even the wardrobe, as one room had 2 while the other room was seriously smaller, had a smaller bathroom, and only 1 wardrobe. Even the one bed with coil springs compared to the other bed that had no coil springs was also worth mentioning. You can guess which room had which bed. It was a fine room in itself, but in my opinion, you cannot expect the same for the 2 different rooms including different beds etc. So the price for one room is not in proportion to the big differences. Normally you wouldn't find out, but now that we were with 2 couples, this was clearly visible. Breakfast is in the adjacent restaurant and was a breakfast buffet with more than enough choice. The gentlemen at the reception are extremely friendly and helpful."
