Hotel Rott

"My wife and I stayed at Hotel Rott recently for four nights - our first time visiting Prague. The hotel is moderately priced and very well located adjacent to the Old Town Square and within walking distance of most of the major tourist sites e.g. the astronomical clock , Charles Bridge , the Prague Castle and St Vitas Cathedral and the Jewish quarter. A bit further is Wenceslas Square. The hotel is a five story structure with some rooms facing the street in front and others face a small internal court yard in back . Our room faced the front while the quieter rooms in the hotel face the back. Our room appeared updated and well maintained . The staff are very attentive and helpful. At check out they were able to arrange a timely ride to the train station for us so we could continue our travel on schedule. Another plus factor is the outstanding complimentary breakfast in the basement dining area which we enjoyed very much."

Everything seemed well-organized, and it was clear that providing guests with a high standard of service is a real priority. One of the things that stood out the most was the genuine warmth and kindness of the staff. We were consistently welcomed with friendly smiles, patience, and a willingness to help. It never felt like we were just another reservation; we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. The day-to-day operations and staff rotations were also handled remarkably well, with a consistent level of service and a clear sense of teamwork. It is not always easy to maintain such a high standard while ensuring that everything runs efficiently behind the scenes, and the team deserves real recognition for that. In my opinion, the combination of professionalism, efficiency, and genuine human warmth is what distinguishes a good hotel from a truly memorable one. Hotel Rott succeeded in creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, and its staff played a major role in making our stay so enjoyable. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for your hospitality, dedication, and excellent service. We would gladly return on our next visit to Prague and highly recommend Hotel Rott to anyone looking for a centrally located hotel with outstanding service and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. ❤️"

"Perfect melon in the best location in Prague! An excellent melon that allows you to get everywhere on foot. It is located right in the heart of the old city, a minute away from the astronomical clock and a few minutes from the Charles Bridge, so we wouldn't need public transport at all. The room was very clean, spacious, and completely quiet despite the area outside being bustling and full of life. The breakfast was rich, delicious, and varied, and was served in a very ancient and special space. The team at the reception was lovely, polite, and helped us with every question. The room I got when I arrived (me and my 20-year-old son) gave me a bit of claustrophobic feeling because there was no window - and immediately the amazing team (led by the wonderful manager Yana) changed me to a huge family room with 2 double beds, a shower, a bathtub, and everything... a huge and very clean room! Every day we put mineral water bottles for the comfort of the guests in the room. Great value for the price! The hotel is highly recommended and we are sure to come back here again! Winning location and a great experience!"
