Hotel Residence Select

"Staff are lovely but your rooms are dirty! No masking around the fact the whole hotel needs a good scrub from top to bottom new mattresses new floors new paint new bedding it really is disgusting. I would suggest people bring their own bedding with them if they can or at least a sheet it’s just appalling the hygiene you really need to sort it out. The breakfast is very basic I wouldn’t bother and I’m quite annoyed that hotels do not concentrate on their cleanliness. How do you honestly expect people to deal with dirty bedrooms?"

"Found some dirty wee stain, poo all over my mattress! Told the receptionist about this, she was not bothered at all and tried to blame it on myself! After waiting hours nothing still had been replaced so we then spoke to another member of staff and then was told it would be replaced at 4pm. We went out for the evening to be shook that they just covered it over with new sheet. We dragged the mattress into the lobby to be told to take it back up and they just tried to provide us with another sheet! It was left there and told them to sleep on the stains. Lucky we managed to have another bed in our group for me to sleep on. AVOID AT MUST!"

"It is a pity a little more care is taken place there. Bathroom need a coat of paint and a shelf in the shower enclosure and the house keeping could do with being beefed up. TV guide said BBC News was on channel 1, it was on 11. Seems management isn't quite on top of it. Apart from that it was very good, room was big and breakfast was good and would happily stay there again. Located near major public transport links which is good. One thing worth pointing out, there are 2 major roads there which are noisy. I am sure that applies to the all the hotels in the that area"
