Green Garden Hotel

"This is a great hotel just 10 minutes walk from I P Pavlova station. Reception staff speak English and are very pleasant and helpful. Our room was overlooking the gardens and was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is excellent with a full range of continental foods and a cooked full English - the scrambled eggs were to die for! We ate in the restaurant most evenings and could not fault the service: Kristina and the young man (never got his name) were first rate. the food was very good. Great location for exploring the city."

"The Green Garden is spotless. Has a lovely glass lift. The food is lovely, buffet breakfast very comprehensive. I also had an unfortunate incident whilst there and the staff were marvellous and most diplomatic and understanding. Notable mentions need to go to Valentine, Adam & Christina. All of whom did everything in the bar, restaurant and breakfast room. Always cheerful and interested in your day and where you had been. Would highly recommend this hotel, it was truly excellent."

"My wife and I stayed for two nights on half board basis. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and full of character and has a very welcoming atmosphere. It’s also very well maintained and clean. Our room had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s rest after a busy day sightseeing around Prague. All of the public areas are warm and characterful but the Art Garden restaurant deserves a special mention for its beautiful decor and atmosphere. Breakfast is served buffet style and offers a wide variety of food, all of which was delicious. Best of all, dinner in the evening served in the Art Garden restaurant was superb. We specifically chose more traditional Czech dishes from the menu and were delighted with the both the flavours and presentation. All of the staff were very polite and extremely helpful. Although not as close to the main tourist attractions as some other hotels, we found that the location was ideal for us. Sometimes we chose to walk into the centre which took around 30 minutes but we also used the excellent public transport. Prague has trams and a metro serving the city and we found that using the tram was both convenient and very easy to use. Being pensioners, it was also free! Overall, wonderful city break!"
