"What we liked: The location is definitely a major advantage and one of the best parts of the stay. The reception staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. What we didn’t like: Overall, the hotel did not meet our expectations for a true 5-star property and felt more like a good 3.5-star hotel. The cleanliness was rather average. Although the breakfast had a large variety, the quality and taste were not very good. The food was very oily, with a heavy focus on processed meats and cold cuts and very limited vegetable options. We also dined at the hotel’s Asian restaurant, which was highly rated, but unfortunately we found it overpriced and disappointing. The food was very oily and heavy, especially the pasta and risotto dishes. Another disappointing point was the spa showers on the last day. During check-in, we were told we could use showers after check-out before our flight, but later discovered the spa charges separately for shower access. Even more confusing, I was charged €10 while my friend was charged €5 for the exact same service. This felt unprofessional and misleading."

"Our room was very clean and roomy (by European standards). They have a very good buffet style breakfast that is included. The staff helped us with any questions we had. We would stay here again and the location is very good/walkable. Half a block from the metro."

"Brilliant location – we had a very good four night stay here – in the centre close to everything. Lovely room, very comfortable bed, large bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities and fridge. Breakfast was excellent – cereals, pastries, cakes, bread and then everything you could possibly need for a cooked breakfast – there was so much food and with a complimentary bucks fizz to wash it down! Only downside, for us, was the front bar – seemed too small for a hotel of this size – on the second evening we managed to find a table and had a couple of drinks, we then ordered another round and were told it would be brought to the table – people were arriving after us and getting drinks but ours never arrived – it was very very busy and standing room only – we were then told that they were very short staffed and we ended up leaving – we did not go back to the bar after this – we ended up drinking at another bar in a hotel around the corner - shame because I do like to finish off a day of sightseeing in the hotel bar. Staff were all really friendly and helpful."
