"My husband and I have just returned from a 4 night stay in the hotel's Bohemia Suite and the hotel and room were perfect for our needs. They arranged a car to meet us at the airport for the transfer to the hotel and the driver was on hand immediately we arrived to escort us to the immaculate Mercedes vehicle and help with the luggage. On arrival we were swiftly checked in and warmly welcomed, with a voucher for a welcome drink which we could redeem at the bar whenever we chose during our stay, much better than being given a drink immediately before even being allowed to go up to the room as some hotels do. The suite was the ideal size for the two of us and nicely furnished and equipped, with both a coffee machine and pods and an electric kettle. The small fridge was very useful too, and a complimentary bottle of water was provided together with a welcome gift of chocolates. The very best feature, though, was the lovely terrace which was even bigger than it appeared from photos on the website, with comfortable seating and planting which provided good screening from the neighbouring terrace, various historic buildings visible including the Powder Tower, the Tijn church and Prague Castle in the distance, and the sun moves across it from East to West so gets sun at any time of the day. The selection of food at breakfast was very good and some things were varied every day so it didn't get monotonous. The ability to order from the a la carte menu as well as the buffet is something I really like in a hotel, and everything I tried was well cooked. On the last morning of our stay the breakfast room was very busy and we were shown to a table in the bar (immediately adjacent to the breakfast room and actually closer to the buffet area) and I really enjoyed eating there as there were only a few tables and it felt so quiet and relaxing, with super comfortable furniture. As a suggestion, I feel the hotel should consider using the bar as a breakfast area set aside for guests who have booked the suites, as a way of enhancing the experience. The whole hotel was immaculately clean and every member of staff courteous and did their jobs well, especially Robert who kindly took us down to see the beautiful ballroom in the hotel basement and told us about the history of it and showed us the memorabilia on display. All in all, a very special hotel and I highly recommend the suites.
There was very little room for improvement, but they do really need to replace the blackout curtains as the existing ones don't fit very well and sunlight gets in (from very early in the morning) over the top of them, down the side and even at the bottom because they don't touch the floor. There is one step between the bedroom and living room of the suite and although we tried to remember it was there we did stumble on it a few times, as we did on what seemed to be a hole in the floor underneath the carpet, close to the corner at the end of the bed. We mentioned this to the receptionist when checking out, who made a note of it."
