"Very nice hotel in the middle of the old town. Clean and comfortable rooms as well as a good breakfast available. My wife especially liked the antique-style decor and furnishings which is a real point of difference to most hotels. Despite being in the middle of a very busy part of the old town, the rooms were still very quiet. We would certainly stay there again. One point to note is that there can be a lot of stairs to negotiate which might be an issue with older visitors. It is actually quite a nice feature on each floor and gives it character, but it is worth being aware. Our room (which was wonderful) also did have a lot of stairs to climb after entry but was not a problem for us. This will not be the case with every room, but people should be aware and potentially check with the hotel before booking if this is potentially an issue."

"I highly recommend avoiding this hotel for your vacation. We booked a triple room for three adults (two sisters and a nephew). Long before our arrival, I specifically messaged the hotel via WhatsApp to request three separate single beds, explicitly stating we did not want a double/combined bed setup. They confirmed it, but upon arrival, they completely ignored this and gave us a room with one double bed and an extra spring bed. When I objected, instead of solving the problem properly, they split us into two separate rooms. The state of the new rooms was shocking. As seen in the photos, the wooden ceiling beams were severely cracked and degraded. The room had only a very tiny skylight/window that could not be opened because it was directly under the roof, leaving the room with absolutely no fresh air. This caused a terrible, heavy smell of moisture and mold. To make matters worse, there was no refrigerator/fridge in the room during 30-degree summer heat, and we even spotted bugs crawling on the floor. When I requested a room change due to these unacceptable conditions, the staff casually said they would inform management but absolutely nothing was changed or done. This place is poorly managed, unhygienic, and structurally neglected. Do not waste your money here."
