Boutique Hotel Constans

"The hotel is located very centrally in the Old Town area of Prague's Lesser Town. The walk to the Charles Bridge takes about 8 minutes; the one to Prague Castle is no longer. Due to this very central (and yet quiet) location, the hotel is excellent for exploring the city on foot. All important sights are therefore also reachable on foot. Due to the proximity to the embassies of Germany and the USA, the surrounding area (especially in front of the US embassy) is always guarded by the police, so the sense of security is also very good. The hotel itself is very clean and well-maintained. It extends over several small buildings (or parts thereof) and therefore rightly calls itself a "boutique hotel." The rooms are very spacious and furnished to match the style of the hotel. The breakfast was extensive and good. In addition to the buffet, a supplementary menu is also available. This includes various egg dishes, waffles, and pancakes, as well as other savory items. The staff at the hotel was very friendly. We were very satisfied overall. Due to the old building structure in Prague, the alleys and entrances are quite narrow. The hotel has its own garage, which is, however, correspondingly narrow. Not every one of the available parking spaces is accessible for a mid-size car. With an Audi A4 Avant, the selection was already very limited. We chose a parking space in a public parking garage (Old Town Parking). With an online booking, this was no problem at all and, at about 30 euros per day, also cheaper than at the hotel."

"We couldn't fault the Constans. We had a lovely room full of period furniture, and the whole place has been similarly and lovingly furnished to reflect its age and character. The breakfast buffet was fabulous with lots of choice and eggs and other hot food to order. The staff, too, were great, attentive and welcoming. For a hotel close to the centre, we thought it offered great value too; being only a short walk from Charles bridge and the castle."

"Could not be more perfect. A quiet, cosy and welcoming space. The rooms are large, clean and classy, with (in our twin room) a lovely big bathroom and a sitting area with sofa and TV if you needed it. A very beautiful and authentic part of town. The breakfast is indeed splendid!"
