Appia Hotel Residences

"We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights from May 19th to May 25th. The room type was grand apartment. It had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It was very spacious and clean. The bathrooms had strong water pressure and plenty of hot water, making showering a pleasant experience. Check-in was quick and easy, and the front desk staff were warm and friendly. The breakfast room was spacious and bright, and the staff were attentive and promptly cleared away dishes. The breakfast selection was plentiful, including hot and cold dishes, bread, desserts, cheese, yogurt, fruit, and juice. The hotel is located in a quiet embassy district and has a garden on the ground floor. Guests can enjoy complimentary drinks and croissants in the garden. Because the hotel is located on a hillside, if walking is inconvenient, you can take bus number 194 from the foot of the hill. The bus stops at a nearby intersection, and it's a short walk back to the hotel. The hotel is close to many famous attractions. The castle is accessible by going uphill; going downhill offers views of the lively scenery at the foot of the hill, and there is also a famous park nearby. Charles Bridge is about a 10-minute walk away, and on the other side of the bridge are many famous attractions in the Old Town. You can easily take a bus to the new town area. The hotel is close to famous attractions. Heading uphill, you can reach the Castle; heading downhill, the foot of the hill is very lively, with a famous park nearby. Charles Bridge is about a 10-minute walk away, and beyond the bridge are various famous Old Town attractions. You can easily catch a bus to the new town as well."

"Appia was hands down our favorite hotel of our 2-week trip to the Czech Republic and Austria. The premium/prestige suite was so spacious and bright with high ceilings, many tall windows, updated bathroom and with views of the lovely garden and terrace overlooking the German Embassy (U.S. & UK Embassy also nearby). Our young adult daughter who joined us on trip was thrilled with her room with dining area (bigger than her whole apt in NYC). We also loved the charming part of Prague it's located in, very near the castle complex. We did not find the walk up to Appia uncomfortably steep at all. There's also a lovely back garden and sitting area on the property. And to top it off, the breakfast is vast, delicious and held in a wonderful beamed attic, and the women working there were so nice and fun to chat with (especially the woman from Ukraine, not to mention Pavel at the front desk). Highly recommend Appia especially for a family or group. It's such a great value. Hope to return someday!"

"The Appia is a lovely place to stay in Prague. Helpful staff, excellent breakfast, and interesting neighborhood. Rooms were clean, large, and comfortable. Would stay here again."
