What Antik Hotel Prague has to offer

    Charles Bridge

Beyond the Old Town, just 15-minutes on foot from the hotel, is one of Prague’s most iconic landmarks. Spanning 500m across the Vltava river, the Charles Bridge has connected the Old Town to the Baroque palaces and churches of the Lesser Quarter since the 15th century. You’ll find a vibrant mix of market traders, artists and musicians as you cross to the other side.

    Prague Old Town

The hotel sits on the edge of the medieval Old Town, one of the best preserved historic centres in Europe. Meander through the maze of narrow, cobblestone streets or join the crowds in the Old Town Square to watch the Astronomical Clock – the oldest clock still in operation – as it strikes the hour.

    Prague Castle

Perched on a hill overlooking the Vltava River, this architectural masterpiece is under half an hour from the hotel on foot, and one of the largest ancient castle complexes in the world. Dating back to the 9th century, it has been gradually added to over the centuries and boasts a blend of architectural styles, from Gothic and Romanesque to Baroque and Renaissance. The views of the city are fantastic too – so you’ll have plenty of opportunities for a holiday snap.

Find out more about Prague City

Myth tells that Prague was founded by the daughter of the legendary King Krok. Looking down on the site where the city now stands, she saw a city “that would touch the stars”. Today, the Czech Republic's capital is often called the City of a Hundred Spires. At well over a thousand years old, a holiday to Prague is a must for those who love history and architecture. Drink in city views from Prague Castle and stroll through Průhonice Park - the largest landscaped park in Europe. In between attractions, refuel with a pint - you’ll find that beer is a beautiful thing in Prague. From party animals to families and romantic getaways, a holiday to Prague City has something for everyone.
