Adams Beach Hotel

"First impression reception area looks lovely. Rooms okay. Most Bizarre thing was the transparent large window in the bathroom which looks straight into the bedroom. We finally found a switch where you could black it out. We booked the hotel because of the Adults only area which was located in the deluxe adults section of the hotel. They did provide us with different pool coloured towel which was blue. All the other towels for the other pool areas was brown/cream Stripes. Everyday anyone was just coming and using the deluxe area. When we questioned this to the pool attendant they said it was okay to use it because it wasn’t so busy in the deluxe part of the hotel. Bear in mind you pay a lot more to stay in there. The only positive thing was the sushi Bar/food was really nice the girl called livia was really nice friendly and polite . The hotel its self was absolutely full of families with lots and lots of children (more children than adults) Be aware in the main eating restaurant you have birds flying all round and landing on your tables after the food."

"Location was good. Atmosphere was good. We had to change rooms as we booked sea view and had a view of a brick wall. No problem at all with changing rooms, the reception was very helpful. We lost a day because we couldn’t unpack. Someone took everything out of our safe in the old room even though I told them we would come at 15.30 to remove everything from the safe. We found everything from our safe on top of our suitcases in our new room. We had to cancel credit cards and bank cards. Nothing was taken, our private papers were all there but that is a big security risk, it puts us and the hotel at risk. The security manager did apologise. So we lost even more time from our 1 week stay. The Tui representative would not come to disscus this issue, I spent every day sending emails. 2 days before we left a Tui representative came but didn’t do anything. We could only eat in the buffet, we could not eat in the other restaurants unless we paid full price. We were not told this at the time of booking. My husband is in a wheelchair and a buffet is not suitable. The food was very good. Tea and coffee in the room was not replaced every day. Reception was told about it and we had to wait 4 hours before someone came to the room to replace tea, coffee and milk. Bottles of water in the room was chargeable. We have never had these problems in a 5 star hotel before. All the stay were very nice and very efficient. There was no life guard on the adult only pool, so my husband couldn’t go into the pool. Weather was perfect."
