Ayia Napa is a famous destination for nightlife. But while Nissi Beach is close to the action, it’s also a secluded spot suitable for those looking for a quieter break.
With a Mediterranean climate and sea breezes, Nissi Beach is lovely all year round. Temperatures peak in June, July and August – the ideal time if you want a tan. But the mild weather of Cyprus means that a Nissi Beach holiday is an appealing option as early as April and as late as November. Half a kilometre long, Nissi Beach is in a cove on the southern coast of Cyprus, a forty-minute drive from Larnaca airport. The Cape Greco nature reserve, on the south-eastern tip of the island, is just 20 minutes away.
