The Residence

"We very much enjoyed our stay in The Residence. The apartment was spacious and kept immaculately clean, the towels changed frequently and the bed linen halfway through a two week stay. The reception and housekeeping team were very helpful and friendly. We found a couple of good restaurants along the seafront and one up on main road, and a great ice cream place in the marina. The fish restaurant under the apartment building is excellent but it’s a bit pricey. The pool was too small and shallow to be used for anything more than a quick dip and there were only six sunbeds – hardly anyone used it which isn’t surprising but the beach was so close it didn’t matter to us. Shade under the palm trees on the promenade if you go to the beach for a swim and a short spell in the sun. Otherwise you need to walk for about 10 minutes to find sunbeds. Only downside was the queue of traffic on main road for first 10 minutes of journey to Split. I think the school run started up when we were there. Appreciated private and secure parking during out stay."

"The Residence Hotel is a true gem! The staff were really hospitable: they found a perfect apartment for our family and once we arrived helped us out with everything. An apartment was nice and modern. From our vast terrace we could see the island of Brač across the sea. The beach, just a few minutes away, was lovely at all times of day. Many chic beach bars and restaurants were in the vicinity as well as a marina. Looking forward to coming back next year!"

"We had a pleasant stay at The Residence apartment hotel. Free parking was a great bonus, and check-in was quick and efficient. The décor is a bit dated, but the apartment itself is spacious and well-equipped. The kitchenette had everything we needed, and having a washer was very convenient. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony with its seating area and appreciated the cloth drying rack provided. The bathroom has a bathtub rather than a shower, which may not suit everyone, but the air-conditioning and ceiling fan kept the place very comfortable. There was plenty of storage space, and with several supermarkets nearby, it was easy to stock up on essentials. Overall, a comfortable and practical base for our stay. Recommended for families with small children."
