"New and very beautiful property right on the sea, also ideal for families with small children given the ample space and large shaded area. Impeccable cleanliness, the scent of clean everywhere. Only negative note, prices for water and drinks in my opinion are overpriced. I would go back immediately"

"Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our stay at this 4-star hotel in Umag. We had expected significantly more. The staff was consistently very unfriendly and by no means accommodating. Not a single employee left a positive impression on us. The drinks were also a big disappointment. An Aperol for €8 was not even half full, a mojito tasted practically only of water and had no perceptible alcohol. Particularly annoying: Some drinks that were offered on the menu were not available at all. Unfortunately, the food also did not meet what one would expect from a 4-star hotel. Much did not seem fresh, partly like canned or ready-made products + mostly cold. More mass processing than a high-quality hotel buffet. We also had to note significant shortcomings regarding hygiene. Overall, the experience by no means meets the standard for us that one can expect from a 4-star hotel and at a price of €700–800 for a weekend. We would therefore unfortunately not recommend this hotel."

"Had booked another hotel from Plava Laguna, which unfortunately was still under renovation and not finished upon arrival. Were able to rebook spontaneously and were welcomed in a friendly manner. Cleanliness leaves something to be desired in some places and the animation team seems only partially motivated or suitable. Room, view, and food selection are good. The aquapark and the swimming pools as well as the beaches are highly recommended!"
