"Five years ago we stayed here and were extremely satisfied. So we decided to come back and convinced our friends to come along. Unfortunately, that was a huge disappointment. It seems like everything these days is about making as much money as possible. We paid about €200 more than five years ago, while half board was included then and now nothing at all. At the time we got a spacious apartment with enough beds for our family of five. Now we were placed with five people, including three children, in a too small apartment, so we had to sleep on a sofa bed as adults. The hygiene also left much to be desired. The shower was full of mold. After our complaint, it was fortunately cleaned, but that really should not have been necessary. The stairwell had clearly not been cleaned for a long time and huge cobwebs hung in the skylight. Our children walked barefoot in the apartment for the first ten minutes and their feet were completely black with dirt. The living room could hardly be darkened. Eventually we hung a bedspread in front of the glass door to get it slightly dark to sleep on our sofa bed. In addition, there was insufficient hot water. The fourth person was already partly in a cold shower and the fifth had to shower completely cold. After all these problems, we started talking to the manager. Unfortunately, that conversation hardly offered a solution. All that was suggested was a topper for the sofa bed. In the end, that turned out to be not even a real hit, but just an extra blanket. Otherwise, the manager was completely unwilling to take our complaints seriously or to accommodate us in any way. We found that particularly disappointing. Our friends were also unlucky. Their apartment was next to a collection of smelly dumpsters, which was anything but pleasant. At the pools were far too few sunbeds available. At the beach there were plenty, but they had become paying for €12 per day. The tourist train to the center was even more expensive for our family than a taxi. We also had one evening in the buffet restaurant. The food was substandard and after about an hour a large part of the buffet was no longer replenished. You pay €4.90 for a Coke and at checkout you were also explicitly asked for tips. I could list many more complaints, but the conclusion is simple: this stay was a huge disappointment. What was a fantastic experience five years ago is not the same today. We will definitely not be coming back here and unfortunately cannot recommend this accommodation."

"Ok experience. The place was clean and with appropriate decoration. In general, however, the place carries the mark of a certain age and lack of maintenance/renovation, but things worked ok. However, it does not seem that you can call the apartment 4 star. The beds are pretty tough so after three nights both adults had back pain. The pool on the beach is salt and the water burns a little by mouth and nose. Everything in the area except the pool costs extra. Trampolines, sun loungers on the beach, etc. - it quickly becomes very expensive to have a holiday here. The food in the small restaurants/cafes at the resort is not very good."

"Unfortunately, it was below expectations and, above all, below the amount we paid. 380 € for one (and I repeat one) night. It defines itself as a 4-star hotel, but we are definitely far from that. Cleaning was not done in detail. (Sink with a toothpaste stain from the previous guests), but the thing that bothered us the most was the LACK of air conditioning in the single bedroom. My son slept with 30 degrees in the room. It is not acceptable at 125€ per night per person. And when we pointed all this out at the reception (where no one speaks Italian and we are 40 minutes from the border), they were not capable of handling the problems. 4 stars, absolutely NOT. As for the exterior of the property, it is very beautiful and suitable for families, with lots of fun things for children, a pool, and a little train to the center of Umag. As for the rooms, you have a lot to learn!!!!"
