"We spent 3 nights here last weekend whilst in Vienna for a family wedding.
We arrived after 9pm and hadn't eaten, the receptionist was very helpful directing us to the service station across the road where we could get a snack.
The rooms were nice, a little noisy if you have your window open on at the front of the hotel, the back was quiet and peaceful. There are 3 working lifts, so good for accessability. They are clean and tidy, only a limited choice of English speaking TV, ie BBC or CNN news. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom which is a little inconvenient as you have to dry your hair in a wet steamy bathroom. There are no plugs near a mirror for make-up or other hair appliances like straighteners. There is a coffee machine in the room, you get 1 black coffee, 1 white coffee, 1 teabag which seems a little tight. We only had the room serviced once. They did not replace the coffee pod that had been used.
Breakfast was good, plenty to choose from whether you wanted a light cereal and toast or a more filling cooked meal, and with tea and coffee, and juice. You need to give your hotel room at the door, we discovered on the 1st day that the staff don't all speak English so had to write it down or use google translate.
There are 2 metro stations across the street, with good links to the city and I would recommend Prater park if you want a little fun and adventure.
This would have been 5 stars were it not for lost property not being located. We had to wait for our transfer which was late, and I suddenly realised I had left a cushion I use for chronic back pain, in the room when we had checked out a few hours earlier. I asked at Reception, and they said it had not been handed in, wasn't on their computer, but someone checked the room, and they said it wasn't there. They more or less switched off at that point, only 1 spoke English to me, and said it was my fault for not reporting it earlier when they had housekeepers in! They offered to take my phone number in case it turned up, but there was little point when we were leaving the country. I did question if they would have been so dismissive had it been a passport or mobile phone I had left that had gone missing."
