"We stayed here for a week and were very comfortable. The location is wonderful--right by the Nachtsmarkt, an easy 15-20 minute to St. Stephens. I really can't imagine a better location for an affordable-ish stay in this beautiful city. The picture currently displayed on Tripadvisor is not a picture of this hotel--it's a more conventional (but pretty) traditional Viennese building. I've included a picture of the actual building. The rooms are clean and well-appointed. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is OK--about what you'd expect for the level of hotel with sufficient choices, but not outstanding in any way. The machine coffee at breakfast bordered on undrinkable for us. Overall we'd gladly stay here again."

"My stay was unfortunately not very comfortable. The water pressure was quite low, the soap dispenser was empty, and the internet was unreliable. The heating was turned off during the night, which made the room cold. The breakfast quality could be improved, and the staff were not very welcoming."

"I stayed here for two weeks in May 2023 (5/6 - 5/17). Everything was excellent. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. Thomas and the others at the front desk listened to the stories about my daily excursions and gave me advice on trains and other travel trips. The breakfast was excellent and the breakfast staff very friendly. Upon arrival, I was given a choice of rooms. I chose the one with the walkout balcony. The air and water in Vienna are cool and crisp (excellent). The hotel is easy to find and at a very good location, just across the street from the Nach Market, a short walk to the Belvedere and main train station, and a block away from a green line metro stop. While here, I made easy day trips by train to Prague, Budapest, Bratislava, and Salzburg. I took a cruise on the Danube. I saw all the major sites, including the Sisi Museum, which was my favorite. Paris and Barcelona cannot hold a candle to Vienna. Here you will find world class museums without the lines and reservations. Vienna is a hidden gem. This hotel is the place to stay. Great location, excellent rates, good condition, working elevator, great breakfast, and very helpful staff. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and its staff. I would like to return again soon. "
