Great night sleep in the city centre
"Perfect location, easy to get anywhere in Vienna , right opposite the big event hall stadthalle, so great if there are concerts or events, but very quiet. Good beds with good bedding, so a great night sleep was had. Breakfast is plenty and the place is super clean ! Nice relaxed atmosphere, very friendly staff and all in all great value for money!"
Worst check in
"Worst check in I ever experienced in my life coming from somone that travels alot , The receptionist by the name called Nazanin was very rude she asked us to pay while we had already paid online had proof and everything and she refused to see the emails of confirmation she started getting nervous and continued making comments by saying “if you don’t pay now I won’t give you the room” “pay don’t worry expedia will refund you” while we never booked through expedia … we asked her to help us by calling maybe a manger to see how we can sort this while she continued making comments and laughing “I am the manager here” then after insisting to call someone she said she was calling her boss and to wait 5/10/20 min (boss never showed up) we waited for 1 hr 30 min in reception and after said that it was “expedia problem”and now was okay (no appologies nothing) to top that she even threw our id cards not even given gently in our hands ! Worst experience ever avoid at all cost , the only positove thing is it’s true that is opposite the concert hall but I would rather stay at the center as it’s few minutes away by car"
Extremely poor management and bad corporate practices!
"Good location of the hotel next to the Wiener Stadthalle and close to the metro station and public transport stops. A minimalist hotel with a narrow bathroom and spartan conditions. The rooms are not cleaned every day and the men's toilet on the ground floor smells bad. Extremely poor management and bad corporate practices! Despite the fact that this hotel collected my money for the entire reservation 3 days before I received the service, the girl at the front desk told me that I still haven't paid. After a long check, she agreed that I had paid, but said that there were no spaces for my car in the parking lot. She advised me to use the underground parking of the nearby mall(!?) I was told by other hotel guests that if I paid extra for early check-in, I would surely get a parking space. When I showed her the correspondence through booking site they use with the parking confirmation, she said: - this is not a correspondence of the hotel! 15 minutes later some manager came who didn't even introduce himself. He started accusing me of not being nice and friendly, stating rudely and several times that if I didn't like it, I could find another hotel, he would give me my money back. I kindly asked him to note that I am eligible based on the written booking message. He looked over the message, but continued to humiliate me, telling me how I should be friendly, meaning - if I wanted my right, I should be lower than grass. I finally got the promised parking space. I asked to pay by card but the girl couldn't handle the computer so this manager had to explain to her how to do it. When I did enter the tight parking lot - only 20 spaces I noted that 7 of them were free! I have been traveling around Europe for over 20 years. I have never felt so humiliated."
